This position, part of the GMS network, calls for a customer-oriented individual ready to deliver drywall and assist on job sites. Your responsibilities include ensuring safety during transportation, proper communication, and maintaining professionalism. The role also involves backing up Forklift Operator tasks, highlighting the need for a versatile team player. Competitive hourly wages and piecework incentives are offered for work Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely deliver materials according to customer directions
• Professionally interact with customers and other trades
• Focus on service efficiency during deliveries
• Communicate with dispatch to resolve delivery issues
• Prepare trucks and support warehouse staff as needed
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving history desirable
• Strong communication skills essential
• Basic math knowledge and hand tool ability
• High school diploma preferred
• Physical capability to lift up to 100lbs
