Transdev Canada is actively hiring relief casual HandyDART Bus Drivers for its operations in Victoria, BC. This vital role requires a compassionate demeanor and a commitment to safety and mobility solutions. Responsibilities involve providing door-to-door services, adhering to transportation regulations, and ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe transportation services to passengers with disabilities
• Help passengers with accessibility needs during boarding
• Follow safety and traffic regulations thoroughly
• Maintain assigned routes for timely pickups and drop-offs
• Carry out vehicle inspections before and after shifts
Requirements:
• Class 1, 2, or 4 Unrestricted Driver's License needed
• Must possess a clean driving record
• Ability to successfully complete drug testing
• Strong commitment to safety and customer engagement
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an asset
