Sooke School District seeks dedicated on-call Bus Drivers to contribute to the well-being of its student body. This role involves early morning and late afternoon shifts, with weekdays off. Key Responsibilities:
• Safely drive students to and from school
• Cultivate a friendly and safe atmosphere
• Perform safety checks and maintain the bus
• Clean the bus regularly and prepare for routes
• Handle extra driving runs as they arise
Requirements:
• Secondary School Graduation
• Class 2 BC Driver's Licence with air brake endorsement
• Interest in obtaining a First Aid Certificate
• Up to three months of driving experience
• Kindness and patience in working with children
