As an experienced Driver, you will operate Jitney trucks across commercial and residential routes to transport waste and recyclables. You'll need to efficiently manage tight spaces and maintain clear communication with team members, ensuring smooth operations. This outdoor role emphasizes teamwork and safety, making it ideal for candidates with a detail-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive heavy-duty Jitney trucks for waste transportation
• Access container enclosures and manage waste cans
• Communicate with the Jitney Lead and dispatchers
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report conditions
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite during operations
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Effective communication skills for team interactions
• Availability for two shift options
• Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
