This driver safely operates a Class 3 vehicle with air brakes during residential blue box collection. Responsibilities include delivering recycling to the processing facility, identifying vehicle maintenance needs, and maintaining effective relationships. The position supports Emterra Group’s customer-focused approach to recycling, organics, and waste services.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely collect residential recycle blue boxes
Operate vehicles with Class 3 air brakes
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Observe safe work practices throughout routes
Communicate effectively with customers and Route Supervisors
Requirements:
Class 3 license with Air Endorsement
Acceptable driving abstract for the Employer
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Professional relationships with customers and coworkers
Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance requirements
Bring reliable driving, safe collection, and clear communication to Emterra Group’s residential recycling service and processing operations.
