Accounts Receivable Specialist

Waconia Area (Onsite) | Temporary (estimated 3 months) | $27-$33/hr

We're partnering with a growing Minnesota company to find an Accounts Receivable Specialist who can jump in quickly and support a busy accounting team. This is a hands‑on role with a mix of cash applications, billing, customer communication, and account support.

What You'll Do

• Apply customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
• Process billing, recurring invoices, and customer account updates
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and past‑due balances
• Communicate with customers regarding invoices, remittance details, and account questions
• Support collections efforts through email and occasional outbound calls
• Monitor shared accounting inboxes and maintain accurate records
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and other accounting projects as needed

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable handling customer inquiries by phone and email
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• ERP experience
