Job Description- Lead individual, trust, corporate, and partnership tax engagements from planning through final technical review and delivery.
- Oversee tax compliance requirements and drive proactive tax planning and consulting for your client portfolio.
- Manage client deadlines, filing requirements, and billing/collections for assigned engagements.
- Research complex tax issues and provide clear, practical recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Review work prepared by staff, provide coaching and feedback, and help ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Partner with firm leadership on process improvements, quality control, and best practices across the tax department.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the year.
- CPA certification required.
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with significant tax engagement responsibility.
- Experience reviewing returns and leading client-facing tax engagements.
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and team collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and a heavy workload.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset.
