Seeking BC/BE Gastroenterologist to establish a full-scope practice within our growing health system. This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a community with significant unmet GI demand, supported by a strong primary care network and surgical team.
- Hospital-employed role with full administrative and operational support
- No existing dedicated GI provider onsite general surgeons currently manage GI call and perform colonoscopies/EGDs
- High community need with substantial referral volume ready on day one
- Inpatient/Outpatient mix: flexible; proportions shaped by candidate preference and demand
- Clinic schedule:
Mon-Thu: 8am-5pm;
Fri: 8am-12pm (half day) - Clinic volume: 20-25 patients per clinic session
- Procedures:
- Current surgical team performs colonoscopies and EGDs; ERCP preferred but not required
- Strong opportunity to expand GI procedural offerings and volumes
- General surgeons will continue to share GI ER call; new GI can expect 10 days of call per month
- APP Support
- Two NPs currently support general surgery and can support GI
- Plan to add additional NP as volumes grow
- Resident Mentorship: opportunity to teach Family Medicine residents who rotate through specialty departments
- Modern practice environment with dedicated office space
- 1099 PSA option available if preferred
