Texas AandM University-Victoria seeks two full-time, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Kinesiology, with an anticipated start date of January 2027. The position is located at the Victoria Campus.

Qualifications:

The College of Education and Health Professions at Texas AandM University-Victoria invites applications for a tenure-track position in Kinesiology. We seek an individual with an earned doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Human Performance, or a closely related field by December 2026. An ABD candidate may be considered, provided there is a clearly established completion date. Candidates should have evidence of strong teaching, research, and service and demonstrate an understanding of contemporary approaches to areas in kinesiology such as exercise physiology, physical activity, health and wellness, and/or human performance.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Kinesiology in traditional and online formats (4-course or equivalent teaching load in the fall and spring semesters);
• Teach courses appropriate to the candidate's expertise in areas such as, motor development and learning, adapted physical activity, fitness and wellness, exercise science, human performance, or related areas;
• Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement;
• Maintain an appropriate scholarly agenda consistent with expectations for a tenure-track faculty appointment; and
• Contribute to the college and university's mission through assigned service.
