Our client, a dedicated financial partner to the agricultural community, is seeking a Senior Ag Loan Officer to join their team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who enjoys working closely with farmers and ag bankers to support and sustain family farms.

You'll manage a portfolio of 30-40 complex relationships with agricultural and commercial customers, many of whom have larger balances. Your work helps struggling farmers keep their family businesses thriving and assists ag bankers with finding new homes for higher-risk loans. Everyone benefits: the farmer keeps their farm, the banker earns referral fees, and you grow a meaningful portfolio that supports agricultural success.

• Vehicle provided to support your outreach.
• Hybrid work environment blending in-office and remote engagement.
• Moderate noise work setting with computer-based tasks.

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with high-value agricultural customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, managing renewals, pricing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with credit and operations teams to ensure seamless service and risk management.
• Monitor portfolio performance and proactively address risks or concerns.
• Guide customers through onboarding and utilizing proprietary software and portals to enhance their experience.

• 3-5+ years of credit and underwriting experience with a strong agricultural background.
• Proven business development skills and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication with the ability to manage complex, strategic relationships.
• Leadership experience is a plus but not required.
• Proven self-starter professional who can be counted on to get the work done.
