Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our healthcare team. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with physical injuries or conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities. The goal is to help patients restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.

Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and specialized interventions.

Instruct patients on at-home exercises and injury prevention strategies.

Use physical therapy equipment and techniques such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction.

Monitor and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.

Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Educate patients and family members on recovery processes and expectations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.

Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients at all times.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Experience in [e.g., outpatient, orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, or acute care] settings preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move patients and equipment.

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and manual therapy.

Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
