Responsible for the safe operation of winders, glue machines, and folder/stackers; packaging finished goods, making quality checks and handling scrap product. Assists with scrap reduction, housekeeping, and maintaining quality standards; observes all safety rules and conducts assigned duties in a safe manner.

• Follow all company policies regarding safety, quality and attendance. Perform duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to the Senior Operator, Production Supervisor, Team Lead or Safety Manager. Act as a role model for safety on shift. Participate in safety by reporting unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and close calls; make entries into the Global Data Center (GDC).
• Ensure a quality product through regular quality checks by reading and verifying line orders and spec sheets. Conduct regular product quality checks as required. Report any out of spec products to the Senior Operator immediately. Follow all processes and procedures regarding product quality. Accurately and completely fill out quality check sheets to ensure consistent product checks.
• Properly package finished goods to include correct use of labels, chips, sleeves, twist ties, pallet patterns and code stamps. Responsible for the proper packaging of all finished goods to achieve the best cosmetic presentation possible. Verify and execute pallet patterns.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area; meet plant and department housekeeping standards. May be assigned additional housekeeping responsibilities throughout the plant as needed to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.

• Education:
  
  Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Experience:
  
  In addition to the educational requirements, one year of previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers is desired.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Availability to work overtime, extended shifts, weekends and/or holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
