We are seeking a dedicated RN Pre-Op/PACU to join our team on a PRN basis. This role is essential in supporting smooth surgical flow and ensuring exceptional patient care from pre-operative preparation through post‑anesthesia recovery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.

• Provide high-quality nursing care in both the Pre‑Op and PACU settings, ensuring continuity of care and continual evaluation of patient condition.
• Implement all physician orders while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms as needed, including supporting conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique when appropriate.
• Deliver comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
• Complete accurate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients and families in preparation for discharge.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
• Ability to master new skills and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
• Thorough understanding of the perioperative process, surgical procedures, and anesthesia considerations
• Current clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Telemetry experience required

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current state RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre‑Op, PACU, or ICU
