Follow all health, safety, and environmental requirements. Perform cleanup duties. Handle materials and store them properly. Identify, use, and care for common hand and power tools. Use and maintain craft-specific tools and equipment. Apply craft-related mathematics. Follow safety standards and best practices relevant to rigging, inspect rigging equipment and hardware, and understand common hitches, emergency stop signals, basic crane hand signals, knot tying (bowline & clove hitch), and rigging equipment.

Perform procedures for using various slings and calculating sling stress. Use tools and equipment for lateral load movement without a crane. Inspect wire rope components, load blocks, and sheaves. Perform oxyfuel cutting, fabricate and install gaskets, identify and select pipe fittings, and perform material cutting. Make bolt make-up, prepare for welding, and set up welding operations. Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.

Perform boiler tube fabrication, preparation, and fitting. Use air carbon arc cutting and gouging techniques.

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Work at varying heights and recognize safety hazards
• Assemble and disassemble objects, operate equipment and power tools

• Observe hazards and safety warnings
• Bend, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders and scaffolding, kneel, reach, and demonstrate manual dexterity

• Work in extreme heat or cold, noisy environments, wet/humid conditions, cramped quarters, and areas with fluctuating ventilation
• Work both indoors and outdoors

Salary is based on experience. Base Salary:
