Economy Transportation and Logistics is searching for a safety-oriented Hazmat Class A Regional Driver to support our Hazmat/Chemical Transportation activities on a regional basis.

• Ensure smooth, on‑time delivery processes.
• Secure transportation and delivery of various cargo types, focusing on hazardous materials.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations (DOT, OSHA, industry‑specific standards).
• Enforce best practices for handling and transporting specialty chemicals.
• Lead efforts within the operations to maintain DOT and safety compliance.

• Oversee equipment operation, ensuring proper inspections before, during, and after trips.
• Ensure operators meet necessary qualifications and safety standards.

• Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements.
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card.

• 2 years of recent experience driving a tractor‑trailer, chemical tanker, and/or relevant vehicle.
• Ability to operate a 10‑speed manual transmission.

• At least 23 years old.
• Must pass a DOT Physical.

• No MVR violations in the past 3 years.
• No major accidents.
• No DUI/DWI offenses.

• 70 hours per week or close to that with a 34‑hour restart.
• On‑call based on load availabilities.

• Vehicles will be Day cabs. Candidates must live within a 25‑mile radius of Victoria, TX and commute to our yard for pick‑up of day cab in Port Lavaca, TX.
