Test Engineering Supervisor
Responsible for the planning, managing, and technical performance of an engineering unit. Manages all phases of assigned engineering projects from inception through completion and works with technical staff, program managers, and division executives to develop and implement annual and long‑term technical, schedule, quality, business, and financial objectives for the unit.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering projects, including planning and managing technical performance to ensure quality, business, and financial objectives are met.
- Review engineering designs, plans, and analysis for accuracy and conformance to project requirements.
- Support the Structural Test team with test planning, fixture design, analysis, execution, and reporting for airframe and airframe components.
- Troubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements and coordinate with suppliers on special material needs.
- Provide direction to design or technical staff, leading a team of experienced professionals.
- Ensure technical leadership and excellence by participating in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of management, professional, and technical talent.
- Lead progress review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Identify engineering issues and lead solutions such as reallocating resources or modifying contract specifications.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in engineering (or related field) and nine or more years of progressively complex engineering experience. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, statics, free‑body diagrams, shear/moment/torsion analysis, and stress calculations.
- Familiarity with sensors such as strain gauges, load cells, and data‑acquisition methods; experience with test fixture design is preferred.
- Project management and leadership skills, including scheduling, coordinating workloads, and meeting deadlines.
- Able to resolve management and technical problems effectively.

Pay And BenefitsPay range: $130,000 - $170,000 per year.
