Phlebotomist II Float – Victorville, CA

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends.

This position requires a valid state phlebotomy license. Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV.

Pay range: $23.70 - $26.20 per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.

• Cover assigned territories for phlebotomy duties within Patient Service Centers, doctors’ offices, or as directed by business needs.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
• Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource advisor for new employees; act as point of contact on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
• Travel to additional doctors’ offices or Patient Service Center sites as needed.

  Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training.
• Preferred Certification: Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA).

• Work Experience: Three years of phlebotomy experience required (pediatric, geriatric, capillary collections). Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
