Supply Chain Manager

Overview

The Supply Chain Manager develops and monitors the facility supply chain strategy. The role works to improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs while securing high quality material. This position is responsible for managing raw material inventory and purchasing finished goods, factory supplies, and any other items that require purchase orders. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for completing these tasks in a timely, efficient manner with required follow-up inquiries to ensure that the production schedule is met for service requirements to customers.

• Maintain responsiveness to production requirements
• Manage finished goods inventories at all locations to meet or exceed service goals
• Develop and execute monthly production plans
• Place orders in assigned plants
• Track/expedite orders to precisely meet demand while maximizing plant efficiency through finite scheduling
• Monitor timeliness of Plant/Distribution and Shipping Center (DSC) shipments
• Develop, plan, and implement Production Inventory Control (PIC) training
• Assist in planning redeployment of existing inventories to rebalance inventory to current demand
• Create programs and production reporting systems to track critical metrics for location
• Work with operations, DSCs, and vendors to ensure service and cost goals are met

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a bachelor's degree or higher or have at least four (4) years of work experience in a Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations role
• Must have at least three (3) years of work experience in a Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations role

• Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or Business
• Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
• Have prior work experience using MRP (Material Resource Planning) and MPS (Material Production Scheduling) systems

Travel 5%

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.
