Extrusion Assistant

Giro Pack, Inc. is seeking a dependable, self‑motivated individual for our Extrusion Assistant position at our Vidalia, Ga. location. The role will involve manual labor tasks and support production operations.

Shift: 12‑hour rotating schedule. Week 1:
Mon, Tue on;
Wed, Thu, Fri off;
Sat, Sun on. Week 2:
Mon, Tue off;
Wed, Thu, Fri on;
Sat, Sun off.

Job Type: Full‑time. Pay: $12.00 per hour.

• Fill hoppers with plastic film blow as needed
• Maintain and service production machinery as required
• Collect trash, debris and other waste to keep the work area clean and safe
• Complete required production forms
• Assist the Extrusion Operator with changing bobbing spools
• Transfer scrap materials to assigned area
• Operate film blow scrap/recycle machinery
• Weigh, scan and transport finished products to assigned area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Extrusion Operator or supervisor

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads up to 50 lbs)
• Good hand‑eye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules and procedures
• Warehouse experience is an asset, but not required
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts
