As a Caregiver with Amada Senior Care, you will provide compassionate, non-medical home care and companionship to seniors and veterans. You’ll help clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life while assisting with their individual daily needs.

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and other outings as needed
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Encourage client independence and participation in daily activities
• Follow each client’s care plan and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate office staff
• Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Genuine desire to help seniors and veterans
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel throughout Vidor, TX, and surrounding communities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care
• Dependability and commitment to scheduled shifts
