Full‑time

• Report to the Billet Yard Coordinator and Billet Yard Supervisor.
• Operate the 20‑ton crane to remove billets from the casting machine cooling bed, to charge the rolling mill feed table, and to move and load billets as directed in the main yard and G‑bay.
• Remove scrap billets from the cutting area to the scrap rail car or scrap pile as needed.

• 20‑ton crane with electromagnets, spreader beams, cables, slings, chains.
• Cutting torch, broom, mop, computer terminal, man‑lift, mobile crane, etc.

• High school diploma combined with 1 or more years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with cranes and other heavy equipment like forklift and man‑lift.
• Ability to use simple writing, adding, subtracting, whole numbers, and the carry out of instructions; use of fixed gauges and direct reading instruments and devices in which interpretation is not required.
