Bealls is a family‑owned and operated retail brand focused on providing a people‑first approach to the guest experience. As a Store Manager, you will lead a fast‑paced, guest‑centric culture, making decisions that enhance the guest experience and drive store profitability.

• Develop, coach, evaluate, and retain management and associate talent.
• Recruit, select, and manage a diverse range of associates and leaders.
• Invest time in continuous training and development opportunities for the team.
• Build a strong, collaborative, and engaged team culture.
• Drive total store sales and understand your role in sales growth and profitability.
• Build and lead a guest‑centric culture; use guest survey reporting tools to improve experience.
• Champion credit and loyalty programs; educate guests on benefits and offerings.
• Maintain operational accuracy, process, and workload efficiency.
• Execute store merchandising direction, standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and signage to ensure consistent brand experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong coaching, training, and engagement skills with associates of varying experience.
• Excellent communication, rapport, and trust‑building abilities.
• Ability to interpret and apply company procedures and policies.
• Proficiency with Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/scheduling software.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Set goals, guide performance, and hold self and others accountable to high standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
• 2–3 years of management experience (preferred).
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and team‑building skills.
• Ability to work varying hours, including mid‑shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions.
• Lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds.
• Full body rotation and mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching).
• Reliable transportation required.
