• Strong knowledge of torque tools, procedures, and best practices
• Lead multiple foremen and crews
• Assign job tasks to each foreman and ensure training
• Act as a safety role model for the team
• Enforce OPD and client safety policies and procedures on the jobsite
• Anticipate and recognize potential safety and environmental concerns and report them to the OPD Superintendent
• Provide records of work completed to the OPD superintendent
• Communicate with OPD Superintendent for material requirements and scheduling NDE for pipe and vessel welding
• Verify all material is onsite
• Coordinate with other area GF's on planning
• Write and submit RFIs requested by area foremen

• Actively participate in a strong safety culture
• Recognize safety hazards and risks
• Participate in onsite safety meetings
• Follow OPD and client safety policies and procedures
• Be aware of changing conditions on an active jobsite
• Be on time to the jobsite each day ready for work
• Display a positive attitude and work well in a team environment

• Capability to work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, humidity, cold, and high elevations
• Lifting and carrying objects up to 60 lbs
• Standing for extended periods up to 11 hours per day; breaks at 2.5‑hour intervals
• Regular use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending
• Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools

• At least 2 years of experience as a general foreman
• At least 4 years of experience as a torque technician
• Previous experience in a gas plant construction environment
• Previous experience leading teams of 40‑50 people

• Travel is a must with extended periods away from home in remote areas
• Willing and able to attend and/or lead employee safety meetings
• Work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week
• Meet all physical demands of the job

• Five or more years of experience as a general foreman
• Eight or more years of experience as a torque technician

The compensation range is an estimate based on market data; the actual amount may be higher or lower.
