• Categorize bank, credit card, loan, payroll, sales tax, accounts payable and receivable transactions as needed
• Review offshore bookkeeping entries and reclassify transactions as needed
• Perform month‑end close, including reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements to clients
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Communicate effectively with clients and executives to explain financial results and provide guidance
• Support integration of payroll and expense management platforms (e.g., ADP, Gusto, Paychex, DEXT) with client accounts
• Assist with tax planning and preparation as needed
• Maintain organized records and documentation to support internal controls and audits

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
• Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
• Hands‑on experience with Quick Books Desktop, Quick Books Online, Quick Books Enterprise, and XERO
• Familiarity with payroll, HR, and expense software (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, DEXT, and others)
• Ability to analyze financial statements, identify issues, and recommend improvements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and executives
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines
