Position OverviewThe Growth Director is a senior business development leader responsible for driving client engagement, pipeline development, and revenue growth across the federal market. This role owns opportunities from identification through close, builds strategic relationships with government customers and partners, and leads capture efforts for priority pursuits.
CompensationBase Salary plus Commission with OTE up to $.
Key Responsibilities- Own full-cycle pipeline development from opportunity identification to contract award.
- Build and maintain relationships with federal clients at executive, program, and contracting levels.
- Represent RiVidium at industry days, conferences, and networking events (50%+ external presence).
- Lead capture activities on strategic opportunities, including shaping, teaming, and solutioning.
- Develop win strategies, competitive positioning, and customer value propositions.
- Manage and mentor Growth Associates; coordinate closely with Solution Architects and delivery leaders.
- Conduct weekly pipeline reviews, forecasting, and executive-level reporting.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and ensure disciplined pipeline hygiene.
- 5+ years in sales, business development, capture management, or enterprise sales.
- Gov Con experience preferred.
- Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience building and managing executive-level client relationships.
- Strong understanding of complex, long-cycle sales processes.
- Sales methodology, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- CRM systems and opportunity tracking.
- Familiarity with contract vehicles and procurement concepts (federal or commercial).
- Federal acquisition process can be learned on the job.

- MBA or relevant advanced degree.
- Existing relationships with federal decision-makers.
- Experience supporting growth at an SDVOSB or small business.
- Shipley or APMP certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience building or scaling a BD function in a growth-stage company.
