Chemistry Teacher: Long-Term Substitute

Oakcrest School, an independent school for girls in grades 6‑12 inspired by the teachings of the Catholic Church, located in Vienna, Virginia, seeks a full‑time, long‑term substitute chemistry teacher starting in February, 2026.

• Minimum of three years’ experience teaching science within a range of grade levels (9‑12)
• Bachelor’s in chemistry or a related subject is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and an understanding of the developmental needs of adolescent girls
• Experience with and desire to collaboratively work as part of a team
• Commitment to excellent teaching and to continued professional development
• Desire to involve oneself with the school and communicate effectively beyond the classroom
