Responsibilities

The primary objective of the Senior Construction Design Engineer is to lead the Engineering Department to perform all engineering functions in accordance with the company procedures and applicable engineering standards, provide technical engineering input for estimating and bid proposal requirements, provide interpretations of all external codes, regulations, specifications, and the like, provide value engineering direction for company engineering activities, and to sign and seal engineering design packages.

Qualifications
  • Must be proficient in the use of the selected software such as AutoCAD, Plaxis, Civil Tech, STAAD.Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction engineering and or engineering design for projects of varying size, scope and alternative delivery methods
  • Experienced with pile template design, temporary shoring, support of excavation, formwork & falsework, barge stability calculations, pile hammer wave equations, and general marine engineering
  • Possess Professional Engineering licenses in the region
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years prior relevant experience - Structural or Geotechnical discipline preferred
  • Masters Degree preferred
