Audit Senior

As an Audit Senior at Frontec Financial, you’ll manage and execute financial statement audits and OMB A-123 internal control assessments for federal agencies. This role involves a mix of project leadership and subject matter expertise across key audit functions, including internal control evaluations, business process design, and IT general and application control reviews. You'll serve in various capacities—as a team lead, project manager, or SME—adapting your role to best meet client needs while maintaining audit integrity, compliance, and operational insight.

BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, IT, Business, Finance, or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in financial statement audits, OMB A-123, and internal control assessments

Experience leading audit teams or projects, or serving as an SME in internal controls, business process design, or IT control reviews

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong leadership, collaboration, and client service skills

CPA or CISA preferred (may substitute for years of experience)

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Lead or support audit readiness engagements and internal control assessments

Perform financial, performance, and compliance audit services

Support the development of process narratives, test plans, corrective action plans, and remediation strategies

Review and validate financial statements and supporting data for audit presentation

Assist with quality control, documentation, and status reporting

Work directly with federal clients and audit teams to ensure deliverables meet regulatory and professional standards

Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and staff development initiatives
