Phlebotomist II – Vienna, VA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with rotational Saturday, 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay range: $17.94+ per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications obtained. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.

- Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
- Administer oral solutions according to established training.
- Research and verify all test/client information and orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
- Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
- Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
- Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required.
- Perform non‑patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using email.
- Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required.
- Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner, including maintenance logs and temperature logs.
- Complete online and in‑person training courses on time.
- Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime.
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record when applicable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
