Blackbird Health is looking for a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families.

• Passion for our mission to redefine behavioral health for children and their families
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to children and/or adolescents is desired
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with patients, provider partners, and colleagues
• Open to professional and clinical feedback and interested in working in a supporting and collegial clinical environment
• Appreciate the value of operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment
• Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services by meeting with patients regularly to provide counseling, individualized treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Evaluate new clients through biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments
• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients and their families
• Work within a child’s school schedule, with core after-school hours
• Collaborate with other specialty providers to establish an Integrated Treatment Plan
• Comply with minimum clinical time expectations per week after onboarding
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough records
• Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate

• Flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week during peak after-school hours (after 4pm ET on weekdays, or weekends)
• Active licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 USD
