Caregiver Position
Does it bring you joy to assist the elderly with daily activities? We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist an elderly gentleman in Vienna. He is residing in a facility, and also has assistance from the facility staff. He has some mobility difficulty, but can use standby assistance. Primarily he needs a companion caregiver to spend the afternoons with him.
Expect 6 hour shifts with openings every day of the week.

Job Responsibilities
- Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
- Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
- Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
- Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.
- Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
- Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.
- Report abnormal findings in client's conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
Two years of experience as a Caregiver. CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA preferred. - Requirements:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Current Driver's License
- Current TB test
- Reliable transportation, able to travel throughout Fairfax County and surrounding areas
- Immunizations to include COVID-19 and flu strongly encouraged
