Workday Functional Consultant (All Levels)

Alpha Omega is seeking qualified Workday Functional Consultants (All Levels) for potential upcoming Federal projects in Washington, DC. This requisition is broad, as we are pipelineing for future positions across various skills and levels. The federal agency requires US Citizenship.

Description

Candidates will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining the functional and technical aspects of our clients’ Workday environment. The team primarily works with HR, Benefits, Compensation, and Payroll modules. Responsibilities include designing, configuring, testing, deploying, and documenting functionalities, business processes, security, and analytics of the HCM solution. Collaboration with SMEs ensures data integrity, testing, reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and report on Workday HCM modules including Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Time off & Leave, Time Tracking, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to promote Workday adoption.
  • Research and analyze problems, gather feedback, and suggest solutions.
  • Translate business needs into system requirements.
  • Create reports and provide end-user support and training.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, information systems, or related field.
  • US Citizenship (Federal requirement).
  • Workday HCM Certification.
  • 5+ years of HCM or HRIS experience.
  • 2+ years of Workday experience with at least two full implementations.
  • Understanding of HR, benefits, compensation, and payroll processes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in remote/hybrid teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Payroll, Performance & Talent, Recruiting, and Time Tracking modules.
  • Workday HCM Core Certification.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $200,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
