Field Application Scientist

The Field Application Scientist will be a technical ambassador for PAK Bio Solutions, driving customer success across pre-sales and post-sales stages. This role is key to demonstrating our cutting-edge biomanufacturing technologies for customer workflows, ensuring effective implementation, adoption, and satisfaction.

• Pre-sales engagement
  :
  Participate in pre-sales calls alongside the commercial team to assess customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Technical demos
  :
  Lead demonstrations of PAK purification platforms at customer sites, trade shows, commercial events and PAK Bio Solutions labs.
• Implementation support
  :
  Provide post-sales training and technical support to facilitate customer integration of PAK systems.
• Scientific consultation
  :
  Advise on experimental design, workflow optimization, and process integration.
• Serve as a trusted advisor that troubleshoots challenges and addresses technical queries.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, application notes, and training materials for external and internal audiences.
• Gather customer input and feedback to inform product development and applications strategy.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for demos, training, conferences, and customer visits.

• PhD or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in protein purification and downstream bioprocessing (e.g., chromatography, TFF, polishing steps).
• Demonstrated expertise with purification systems such as TFF systems and chromatography platforms.
• Background in vaccine development, monoclonal antibody (mAb) production, or recombinant protein workflows is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with GMP workflows and regulatory environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills-comfortable translating complex science in customer-facing settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative, customer-first orientation.
