Sr. IT Manager

As a Senior IT Manager at Frontec Financial, you will oversee and coordinate IT-related activities for key federal engagements. This position requires both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership—ensuring that tasks are executed efficiently while supporting long-term success and compliance. You’ll quickly gain a high-level understanding of projects and use that insight to implement strategies that improve team productivity, system performance, and client satisfaction.

Building and maintaining strong relationships is essential. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to your team—leveraging your expertise to ensure technical excellence, promote innovation, and deliver results that matter.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing IT-related projects
• Demonstrated experience leading initiatives such as Certification & Accreditation (NIST C&A or DIACAP), and IT General/Application Control reviews
• CPA, CISA, or CISSP required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in project management and team oversight
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Lead and manage IT projects involving FISMA/FISCAM reviews for financial, mixed, and non-financial systems
• Deliver financial, performance, and compliance audit services, including audit readiness support
• Provide leadership to project teams, manage workload allocation, and contribute to staff development and coaching
• Prepare IT process narratives, identify and test IT general and application controls, and support corrective action plans and remediation
• Ensure quality control on all client deliverables; offer clear feedback to improve output and maintain standards
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients—building trust, delivering timely updates, and ensuring alignment with goals
• Produce weekly status reports and maintain clear communication with internal leadership
• Utilize the latest project management tools and practices to streamline workflow, enhance service delivery, and drive accountability
