Junior Developer

ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated Junior Developer to join our team. The Junior Developer will work with a team of developers in a dynamic environment.

• Front‑end development, theme creation, and building interactive, responsive experiences
• Backend development
• Mobile app development
• Drupal upgrades and migrations
• Custom module development and implementation
• Integration for custom functionality and third‑party integrations
• Build, CI/CD, and deployments
• Issue resolution and troubleshooting
• Operations and maintenance tasks

Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S. Government.

• Bachelor's degree, candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
• Collaborative and communication skills
• 2‑3 years of experience in performing web development
• Hands‑on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript building public websites.
• Experience with development of native mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Experience coding using Java or similar programming language
• Knowledge of Node.js, React.js, Angular, and PHP
• Knowledge of SQL/MySQL
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform
• Exposure to Drupal:
  Installing, configuring, and experimenting with Drupal
• Basic knowledge of web technologies and standards:
  Understanding of how the web works, HTTP/HTTPS, and basic security practices.
• Experience with Git or version control systems
• Introduction to Composer and package management
• Understanding the basics of APIs and data integration
• Experience using command‑line tools:
  Such as Drush or general terminals for developer workflows

• Experience with responsive design
• React or Angular
• Development frameworks like React Native
• Knowledge of CI/CD
• Knowledge of Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of JIRA
• Acquia Certified Drupal Developer
• Azure certification
