Product Leader - Government Solutions

The Product Leader is responsible for the overall performance of the product, overseeing it from inception and ideation through design, build, launch, growth, enhancement and eventual sunset. Creates product roadmap and identifies delivery channels, direction of product and product development needs. Defines product requirements and collaborates with cross functional teams to bring products to market (D&A, technology, sales, fulfillment, product marketing, finance, legal).

This position will be based in Reston, VA. The role is eligible to work 2 days a week remote and 2 weeks a year from anywhere.

• People Leadership - Drive and manage the performance of product leaders, providing coaching, development and mentoring to ensure their successful leadership of the product managers.
• Market Opportunity Assessment - Provide thought leadership and oversight for overall Market Understanding on products and product lines directly managed and others as consulted.
• Product Definition - Demonstrate understanding of portfolios and each leader's execution of product definition and opportunity prioritization.
• Product Strategy & Planning - Create the vision and develop the strategy for product portfolios.
• Product Delivery & Launch - Provide partnership and guidance throughout the product delivery process to ensure strong collaboration with a vast array of teams.
• Growth & Portfolio Management - Demonstrate customer-focused innovation, and provide leadership that enforces a customer-first mindset and performance.

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10+ years of Product Management related experience.
• 5+ years of building and leading high-performing Product teams.
• Demonstrates passion about empowering team members through continuous coaching, mentoring, and tailored development programs.
• Expert in cloud-based products and services, demonstrating an understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and deployment models.
• Mentors teams to write detailed product requirements and demonstrates a solid understanding of product design, commercial model and packaging discussions.
• Experienced in Product tools required (Aha, JIRA, Figma).
• Expert in Design Thinking for innovation is a plus.
• Demonstrates deep understanding of Federal, State, and Local Government customer needs.

• Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services preferred.
• Working in a highly matrixed organization is a plus.
