Centennial Technologies Inc. seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, and enterprise‑scale automation to support our federal clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to design, develop, and implement fully automated cloud infrastructure, Dev Ops pipelines, and platform engineering solutions that support high‑performing, secure, and resilient software systems.

• Automate the provisioning of AWS environments, building cloud infrastructure from the ground up using Terraform and deploying applications into EKS and other AWS‑managed services.
• Design and develop highly scalable automation workflows, perform code reviews, and ensure infrastructure and pipelines are optimized for reliability, resiliency, and performance.
• Build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and self‑service tooling using Terraform, Jenkins, Argo CD (good to have), and scripting languages such as Python.
• Lead and provide technical direction to a team of 5+ engineers across areas such as AWS platform engineering, CI/CD pipeline management, automation, and Kubernetes operations.
• Collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and other engineering teams to solve complex platform and automation challenges.
• Implement configuration management and automation solutions, Puppet preferred, to manage infrastructure consistency and compliance at scale.
• Support enterprise Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  initiatives, ensuring infrastructure and deployments meet federal security and operational requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Software Development.
• Minimum 6 years of Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  Engineering experience.
• At least 6 years of hands‑on experience with AWS, including cloud operations, Dev Ops tooling, VPC architecture, IAM governance, and managed services.

• AWS Cloud (Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, EKS, Cloud Formation/Terraform, VPC, IAM, Cloud Watch).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform required; Cloud Formation a plus).
• Kubernetes/EKS, container orchestration, Docker.
• CI/CD engineering, automated build & deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub, Git Lab, etc.).
• Scripting with Python for automation.
• Configuration Management—Puppet strongly preferred.
• Good to have:
  Experience building or contributing to an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Kratix and Argo CD for Git Ops‑style automation.
• Experience working in an Enterprise or Shared Services Dev Ops environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work under deadlines, manage time efficiently, and handle complex technical challenges.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

4 times a week, onsite at the Vienna, VA location, 1 day remote.
