IT Consultant, IT Business Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Now IRM Risk Architect to join our team and lead the design and integration of Service Now Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions across our risk practices. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Service Now IRM, and the ability to guide clients through strategic risk management business process transformations. Supports executive leadership in defining organizational goals and strategic plans and translates strategic vision into plans for a broad functional area.
Responsibilities- Lead Design of Service Now IRM Solutions:
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect robust Service Now IRM solutions, including the documentation of how the system works and developing a strategic roadmap to enhance the system architecture and overall program going forward. - Establish and identify workflow automation opportunities and use case accelerators to streamline current and future risk processes, improve user experience, and enable data-driven decision‑making.
- Help design data and system integrations between Service Now capabilities, especially within the IRM space, to ensure seamless data exchange and support end‑to‑end risk management processes across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with business, senior leaders and technical stakeholders to define governance structures, risk and compliance frameworks, and ensure solutions adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Work closely with first and second lines of defense (1
LOD and 2
LOD) risk teams to define, document, and adopt risk management processes, driving operational excellence and risk awareness throughout the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Auditing, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with Service Now IRM design, configuration, and integration in enterprise environments.
- Expert knowledge of risk management, governance and compliance principles.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences and facilitate client workshops.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams and multiple lines of defense in risk management.
- Expert knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations.
- Expert experience demonstrating strategic thought‑leadership, initiative‑taking, decision making and creativity solving business problems.
- Experience managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals.
- Expert experience working with all levels of executives, management, staff, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant certifications in Service Now IRM or related risk and compliance domains are a plus.
