Job OverviewClient is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to support critical initiatives with immediate deliverables through the end of Q3 and into Q4. This role requires a highly experienced, self-driven engineer who thrives in complex environments and can deliver without hand-holding. This is a fast-paced, high-expectation environment where you will be thrown into the fire immediately. Success in this role depends on your ability to quickly assess systems, leverage existing tools, and solve problems independently using sound judgment and deep technical expertise.
CoreResponsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and pipeline-as-code (Client)
- Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Cloud Formation (YAML / JSON)
- Support and enhance AWS deployments across:
- ECS Fargate, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Route
53 - Automate build, deployment, and operational processes using Groovy and Python
- Integrate pipelines with security and quality scan tools:
- Sonar Qube, Fortify, Nexus, etc.
- Configure monitoring, alarms, and notifications using:
- AWS Cloud Watch
- App Dynamics
- Manage artifacts and dependencies via JFrog Artifactory
- Work within 2-week Agile sprints
- Collaborate with development teams to support Java and Spring Boot applications
- Maintain source control and deployment workflows using Git Lab
- 10+ years of Dev Ops experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- CI/CD pipeline design and Jenkins
- AWS deployments and architecture
- Cloud Formation (YAML / JSON)
- Proven expertise in automation scripting (Groovy, Python)
- Experience integrating security scanning tools into pipelines
- Strong understanding of Pipeline as Code (Client)
- Solid experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Git Lab
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum (2-week sprints)
