Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Solutions Architect / Dev Ops Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure. This hybrid role requires deep expertise in AWS services, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation to support agile development and operational excellence.

Overview:
Syneren Technologies is seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect / Dev Ops Engineer to lead application modernization and cloud migration efforts. This role requires deep expertise in AWS, Dev Ops automation, and scalable cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architect who can design the solution for migrating a critical on-prem application to AWS
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Architect multi-region, autoscaling, and zero-downtime deployments
• Integrate security scanning tools and optimize system performance
• Support IPv6 networking and automate infrastructure tasks
• Collaborate across teams and maintain clear documentation

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in AWS architecture and Dev Ops

• Proficiency in IaC, CI/CD, scripting (Python, Bash), and monitoring tools

• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA compliance

Preferred:

• Must have completed prior AWS migrations from scratch
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect and Dev Ops Engineer
• Experience in government or regulated environments

Working Conditions:

• Standard office environment

• May require extended hours during deadlines

• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs and move throughout the office
