Security Engineer

E-Infosol LLC is seeking a Security Engineer to help lead security engineering across multiple systems supporting enterprise applications, cloud environments, and critical infrastructure. The role is based in Vienna, VA and is onsite
, with compensation in the range of USD 160,000 to 170,000 per year
.

This position focuses on designing and implementing security controls, strengthening monitoring and threat detection, and supporting incident response and continuous improvement aligned to organizational cybersecurity requirements.

• Lead security engineering efforts across multiple systems, including designing and implementing security controls.
• Support cloud-based platforms and contribute technical mentorship while ensuring compliance with security policies, defense-in-depth principles, and organizational cybersecurity requirements.
• Advance the organization’s security posture through proactive monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Secure enterprise applications, cloud environments, and critical infrastructure.

• Active Top-Secret clearance with the capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field preferred.
• Experience securing applications, cloud platforms, networks, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Knowledge of incident response, cyber resiliency, vulnerability management, and threat detection.
• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  .
• Proficiency with security monitoring, logging,
  SIEM
  , and alerting tools.
• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control technologies.
• Experience developing security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CCSP, CISM, GIAC
  , AWS Security Specialty
  , Azure Security Engineer
  , or similar.
• Experience supporting government, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture

• Experience with Dev Sec Ops , container security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices.
• Experience managing COMSEC resources or cryptographic key management systems.
