Base pay range
$38.00/hr - $45.00/hr
A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Legal Specialist for our client in the McLean, VA, Winchester, VA or Pensacola, FL area.
Responsibilities- Provide legal support and advice on matters involving contracts, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution
- Draft, review, and interpret a variety of legal documents and correspondence
- Manage client and customer communications related to legal matters, including phone calls and inquiries
- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
- Maintain organized case files, databases, and tracking systems
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve legal issues efficiently
- 5+ years of experience in a Legal, Regulatory, or Compliance-focused role
- Strong knowledge of legal regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven experience in reviewing and drafting legal documents
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Professional experience handling legal-related calls or inquiries from clients or customers
- Prior work experience in an attorney's office or court environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize and take initiative
- Paralegal certification and/or Legal Studies background
