Veterinary Surgical Center at The Hope Center is looking to add compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistants to our certified boarded-surgeon practice. At Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Veterinary Surgical Center at Hope Advanced Veterinary Center in Vienna, VA
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Assisting board‑certified surgeons in the care of surgical patients, preparing for surgical procedures and assisting with pre‑ and post‑op care for patients
- Helping with surgical instruments, cleaning, packing and sterilizing
- Performing all laboratory in‑hospital procedures and preparing specimens for outside laboratories
- Taking patient histories, vital signs, and weights on patients and assisting with consults and other appointments
- Delivering strong and professional customer service to clients, and more!

- One to three years of veterinary experience
- Experience in specialty veterinary medicine preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
