Direct Client, Onsite Role – Night / Overnight Shift.

Hourly Rate: Best rates available.

Hours: Primary shift – Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM OR 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (may shift as necessary to support operations).

Description: Install, alter, maintain, and repair emergency power systems, electrical systems, UPS systems, and electrical equipment, fixtures, tools, and appliances. Assist team leads on projects, preventative maintenance activities, or emergency responses.

• Assist team leads in the installation and maintenance of emergency power systems, electrical systems, UPS systems, and a wide variety of electrical equipment, fixtures, tools, and appliances.
• Assist team leaders in diagnosing problems, malfunctions, or design alterations to emergency power systems, electrical systems, or electrical equipment, fixtures, tools, and appliances.
• Follow work schedules and read and interpret directions, blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and manufacturer manuals to complete assigned projects in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
• May be designated as an escort for contractors or vendors to perform services.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Assist in ensuring optimal functioning of the electrical and mechanical systems for the respective campus, including all Data Center equipment and UPS systems.
• Demonstrate discretion and good safety practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or appropriate.

• Practical experience of 1 year in maintenance and repair of commercial electrical systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret work schedules and directions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to attend and complete technical training for critical equipment such as UPS systems, Data Center equipment, etc.
• Possess an understanding of software such as Word and Excel.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial electrical maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
