Base Pay Range

$30.00/hr - $59.00/hr

Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician – Walmart’s local retail stores. Are you on the lookout for an exciting career opportunity within a dynamic team? We are actively recruiting a technician with commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience. Your role will support and oversee repair within Walmart’s Refrigeration/HVAC equipment team using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart’s Refrigeration HVAC safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.
