Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Java Developer. Ideal candidate should have previous experience working with federal and large commercial clients, financial, insurance and banking clients with a strong emphasis on user experience, usability, client interaction, customer satisfaction, and a clear understanding of new and emerging technologies. Must lead back-end development efforts, and provide guidance to the team in Java and spring boot technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Mission Critical complex large scale application development and maintenance activities
- Subject matter expertise in back-end development
- Provide Tier 3 support for public facing applications
- Design and develop quick prototypes
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience / Skills
- Proficient communication, facilitation, mediation, and verbal and written communication skills to be demonstrated upon interview. Client-facing skills are required for position
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a subject matter expert in back-end development
- Must have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Java development, mainly focused on back-end development.
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Spring Boot
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with Application servers like TOMCAT, Weblogic, JBoss etc
- Must have experience in J2EE technologies
- Must have experience with SQL Server databases, Stored Procedures and SSIS Packages
- Must have Experience with Git Hub Enterprise, ANT, Maven and other build scripts
- Experience in solving complex business issues- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have experience working with multiple project and project teams simultaneously
- Must have excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Must have customer-centric service delivery focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms is a plus, especially Azure Cloud and Cloud.
Gov environment - A full stack development experience
- Experience GITHub enterprise, Azure Dev Ops and Microsoft TFS
- Experience working directly with technical and business teams.
- Knowledge of SDLC, IT governance and operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, and application dependencies.
Salary And Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
