Technical Consultant – ArcGIS Enterprise Systems | TS​/SCI

Overview Combine Enterprise Systems Engineering with Hands On Customer Delivery.

Join Esri`s Professional Services team and work directly with mission driven customers to design, deploy, migrate, troubleshoot, and optimize ArcGIS Enterprise environments. You`ll combine hands-on ArcGIS expertise with enterprise IT knowledge across operating systems, cloud, containers, databases, storage, authentication, security, high availability, and disaster recovery. You`ll help customers navigate complex technology environments while building scalable and resilient enterprise GIS solutions.

Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Vienna, VA area for this position. Responsibilities Design and deploy ArcGIS Enterprise environments

Support enterprise migrations and modernization

Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues

Work across Windows, Linux, cloud, and containerized environments

Support high availability and disaster recovery strategies

Configure and optimize enterprise ArcGIS systems

Collaborate directly with customer technical teams

Provide guidance on deployment practices

Support advanced upgrades and enterprise system changes

Help customers adapt their ArcGIS environments as technical needs evolve

Requirements5+ years of professional experience implementing and supporting enterprise GIS systems

Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise Familiarity with troubleshooting technical issues in server-based systems

Demonstrated ability to consistently apply a systematic, best practice driven approach to system engineering

Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to customers, executives, and technical and non technical audiences

Ability to travel up to 25%
US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility

Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field

Recommended Qualifications Master's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field

Knowledge of or interest in additional ArcGIS technologies

Practical experience with one or more major cloud providers

Experience with scripting and/or programming languages such as shell scripting, Python, Power Shell, or similar

System administration experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Kubernetes platforms

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
