To support Navy Federal's Cloud Core Banking modernization efforts, we are seeking an experienced Principal Solution Engineer to lead the design and implementation of the Member Master Data Management platform, a strategic capability focused on establishing trusted, authoritative member information across the enterprise. In this role, the incumbent will drive the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions that enable a single, trusted view of member information across banking, lending, servicing, digital channels, analytics, and other enterprise platforms.

Working closely with product owners, business stakeholders, engineers, security teams, and architects, you will help establish solution patterns, integration approaches, governance standards, and operational controls that support enterprise adoption and long-term scalability.

The ideal candidate combines strong solution design and engineering expertise with deep experience in integration, data management, and platform implementation. This role is delivery-focused, requiring the ability to translate strategic objectives into practical technology solutions while ensuring alignment with technology strategy, enterprise architecture, product engineering, security, and operational standards.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
12+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, integration engineering, platform engineering, or related technology disciplines.

Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications, distributed systems, and integration solutions.

Demonstrated experience with Master Data Management (MDM) implementations, including customer or member mastering, golden record management, identity resolution, match and merge processes, survivorship rules, and data quality practices using at least one MDM platform (i.e. Reltio, Profisee, Semarchy, Ataccama) .Experience designing and implementing API-based, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures.

Experience delivering cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or similar cloud platforms.

Strong understanding of data architecture and data management practices, including data modeling, governance, stewardship, metadata management, lineage, privacy, and data quality.

Experience implementing operational data stores, enterprise data platforms, and real-time information services.

Experience with modern integration technologies, including microservices, REST APIs, messaging platforms, event streaming technologies, and API management solutions.

Solid understanding of application and integration security principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure design practices.

Experience working within Dev Ops and Dev Sec Ops  environments, including CI/CD automation, infrastructure management, monitoring, and operational support.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively partner across business and technology organizations.

Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives and requirements into practical, scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions.
