Salary: £36,000 per annum, DOE

Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Based in Uddingston, the company specialises in the repair and overhaul of Electrical & Mechanical components for the aerospace industry. • The repair of precision mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components including disassembly, inspection, fault-finding, build and test utilising company provided tooling and equipment.
• Detailed reporting of shop findings to meet the requirements of aviation industry regulations and the company Quality Management System.
• Ensuring work is completed and documented in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Working with minimum supervision utilising technical data to complete repairs.

• Relevant hands‑on, bench‑work experience in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering, 2 years minimum.
• Expected as a minimum to have a HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• Ability to read technical drawings and associated information.
• Show versatility in quickly absorbing information combined with well‑rounded experience.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and organise workload to accommodate changing requirements.
• Have the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
