Role Description  This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Visakhapatnam with an experience of 2 Plus Years. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The Senior Accountant will assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis to support Virtual CFO engagements and client decision-making. Responsibilities also include coordinating with auditors, ensuring tax and statutory compliance, improving internal controls and processes, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and knowledge of relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting & advisory assignments.

Experience with tax compliance, regulatory filings, and coordination with statutory and internal auditors..
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and to mentor or guide junior team members.
Chartered Accountant (CA)-Inter, CMA-Inter, or equivalent professional qualification preferred; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Prior experience in public accounting, audit, advisory, or a similar senior accounting role, ideally supporting startups or growing businesses.
